I've whittled a temporary sump plug out of a bit of wood as a get me home,
easyAlso I'd want some method of stopping the valve opening due to vibration acting on the lever.
I only recently found the sump plug thread on my GSs is the same as spark plug threading for that age.Don’t knock the sump plug. I did exactly the same on a GSXR race engine years ago that had 10s of thousands in it.... at least to see if putting oil in it helped. It didn’t.
