not really..these are top notchYour gonna need brake rotors like dustbin lids to stop that mother.
This will be mental,Ok the time has come, i have forced myself to start the project i have been trying to start for 5 years...My plan is to take this and marry it up with a Fireblade or GSXR 1000 motor or even a 1200 Bandit motor (easier way being air cooled), whichever comes along 1st at the right money. Advice and input welcome along the way

I believe that that is, in fact, the whole purposeall the monster karts on YouTube just turn tyres into smoke and noise. Unless that is the purpose?
We were saying several inches, cant put the motor too far back as unlike a car there is no weight up front
Looking forward to seeing this develop.a 1200 Bandit motor (easier way being air cooled)
Anyone want a bare kart frame - for free ? Good condition and make. Youth rather than adult size.

Tiptronic, with paddle shifters for up and down. Cuts the engine momentarily, air shifter, or solenoid, shoves the gear lever in the right direction.what's your thinking for gear changes?
looking at that fid posted earlier it looks to be a bit rough, looks like (but tbh I don't know much about this stuff) he's stick a gear leaver cabled up to the standard bike gearbox 1 up 2 down etc. etc.
I'd much rather have a foot working the gears in something like that, but not sure how intuitive it'll be while sitting down?
maybe have the clutch pull leaver something like a paddle shift gearbox, so it's not a break leaver type thing bit a big round bit?
I'm imagining driving something like that and not wanting to leave go of the wheel, even with a good seat and belt setup you'll need to hold on tight to stay in the seat round the corners and over the bumps?
also.... need bigger tyres!
