There are a few diy kits about, this one can be used with a can of brake cleaner. Vid in ad explains it.

I'd like to have a go with an injector flow machine but too expensive for the limited use it would get unfortunately.
When you buy Bosch Motorsport injectors from a reputable supplier they match them for flow rate and deadtime and you get a near perfect set. These are flowing 4x or more a "normal" injector though so low pulsewidth fuel delivery and deadtime matching are critical.
My cars are now on Bosch Motorspor EV14's night and day better than the old EV1, Siemens Denso EV6 etc but overkill for stock applications.

Also check the NEW ones too before you put them in. I had one injector go down and then another. Replaced all 4 with new and as still having an issue convinced myself it was the coil pack.

I have a test machine that does the same job as bob's that cost me less than having 2 sets of injectors matched and flow rate tested when sent away which I used to have to do, and it makes it a doddle to see if a injector is out of spec or stuck.
You can also run them up through different cycles and rpms and duty to see how they flow at different speeds & fuel pressures and it has a cleaning mode to clear debris too. And you have it right there, you dont have to wait a week or two to get the results.
I've never adjusted a petrol injector, but its saved my hide a few times and let me just substitute in a good one with the same flow rate from the box of spares.
Heh I flow tested the injectors out of daughters 207 as a matter of course while I was going through the motor. They were all ok though so went back in. I used to shell out for named brand racing injectors that had been flow tested and came with charts for my bike projects, now I just find something in the spec charts with the right flow specs and mounts and buy used oem ones off ebay and test them over buying new chineseium ones. I think my Gpz11 and turbo both have bosch volvo oem injectors in them at the moment.

I might have diagnosed poorly. The injectors arrived and no improvement. I tested the old ones for resistance and with a 9 voltage battery and they seemed OK so I put them back in.
Pulled both injector rails and turned over the engine. All injectors fired and the spray patterns looked similar.
I didn't clear codes when I moved the injectors first time around. Wondering if the codes for the cylinders I moved the injectors to were because there was air that needed to clear after pulling the injectors..
Wondering if it's just dirty valves after sitting for 4 years. Running the car to temperature now to see if that helps fix the problem.
That seems to have done the trick. Sounds smooth and quiet after half an hour running then clearing the codes.
