From the auction in the original post, "It will definitely take the strain out of fitting wheel nuts." There is nothing I can see on that listing about removing wheel-nuts. It looks to me as though it is designed to catch buyers looking for an impact wrench to undo wheel nuts.
Have a cir24 that died a few weeks back, was ok but i think its been discontinued for the cir450. Maybe not the most powerful but was handy for running nuts/bolts on/off.
Have the clarke corded one aswell and its a bit more of an animal, but still doesnt get everything loose that ive asked it to...almost though.
Using wheel nuts as a yard stick is a bit ambiguous. Chances are if their properly torqued when fitted, the clarke corded will shift them(car wise anyway). Just depends who fitted them previously, and if they hoarsed them up with a masterbar.
Was looking at a Metabo with 4.0ah batteries as a replacement for the cir24 but pricey. Was only rated at 200-220 nm iirc but should be well built and last.
I have a Bosch GDS18V-LIHTN which copes with wheel nuts and Landie suspension bolts that my 12 stone on the end of a breaker bar can not shift, a lot more controllable too.
