Do you have a reasonable selection of 'normal' mechanical tools, sockets/spanners/etc?
You need to remove 'stuff' to weld behind/under it and put it back afterwards...
There are better options than wd40 - it's a water displacement fluid (hence the 'wd' in the name) and although it works after a fashion it's not the best for helping remove rusty and seized fasteners.

Very kind of you bud..this forum just rocks@DrSebWilkes

Doesn't the hand brake workHoly smokey! That's a very big "wow / thanks" from me. I'll PM you ASAP. Whatever happens, huge thanks for the thought!
Quick question: for a car with no brakes ... bad idea to put it on a ramp bearing in mind it is not on concrete? (And then tie the wheels down to the ramp?)
Leave it in gear if the brakes don't work?
In Park and put chocks under back wheelsWhat would that be, sorry? Park / Neutral etc?

pliers stick them in some oil or diesal they will work again
small set of sockets as ive got 2 already
its about 12 kgs
