Yes, if std clips break cable ties are more than adequate better a brake pipe with more fastenings than none but I see some right horrors. I mot an astra that had a copper line literally hanging across under the bulkhead from one side to the other, the only thing supporting it was the two pipe nuts, it was literally draped across rubbing on the exhaust steering rack and drive shafts !! and this was supposedly a mechanic !! If you can get a cable tie on it anywhere to stop it poss buzzing do it !

Most serious rally cars are piped that way with goodridge hose the whole way, it does not effect braking in any way and is MUCH easier to fit as it is usually clipped to other hard lines or at least thicker lines so that they each support each other en mass, to help stop sag between clips, but one of the main advantages is it makes fitting/ changing brake master cylinders much easier because the cyls can be completely removed from the mounting brackets as a complete item , then a container placed under them and the pipes removed, limiting the amount of spillage.
Daft as it may seem made up (crimped end) hoses are far cheaper than self made olive ones the only thing is they are quite hard to guesstimate, lengths/ angles, whereas making them by hand the length/ angles is easier to achieve.
Because even the braided lines have some give and will soften the brakes. I did consider this as it would have let me put all my lines into a single bunch and tie them to the chassis ツ
Well IMO the braided lines have no 'give' and do not 'soften' brakes unless there is a serious problem, there are thousands of rally cars out there with full braided lines, I have never felt any difference. Well there is a difference against using std short rubber, hoses coz with braided the pedal is solid, And I have built many fully braided cars , that is the BIG advantage of braided lines VERY little or no expansion.
I don't know Norm, you could be right, though the braided ones are still nylon inside so I would have thought they give. Places like Llama 4x4 will make a braided brake hose upto 3m for ~£20, so they are not expensive.
Well I have experience, of fully braided vehicles many many times having built enough cars to I think speculate, I am pretty sure we would have had some complaints from top drivers re the brake system if a long pedal is felt you NEVER look at the brake lines !! it is always air or calipers/ wheel /brgs causing knock off or possibly wrongly fitted handbrake master cyl (READ DANGEROUS) relying on the end circlip of the mastercyl to hold the full pressure, when that clip should be removed and a positive end stop provided.

what rubber internals ? plus how do you check the rubber internals of a caliper ? if it dont leak its ok
