Ideas for attaching copper brake line to chassis?

Had some hoses off Llama4x4, well pleased with them however don't ring Dave, you will never get off the phone

Back to the OP question....those rubber lined stainless clips....what happens when the rubber deteriorates and drops out? Ok, it's most probably a synthetic rubber but what's wrong with the nylon clips?

Nothing wrong with plastic P clips but if you happen across a steady supply of nice a shiny stainless ones for not much money................

I would much prefer the nylon clips but I read that the rubber is necessary to stop the copper work hardening. I'm not sure if the copper-nickel pipes need to be rubber mounted.
