Aye, was nagged to go to A&E, as also hit a knee that I had previously smashed on a car roof! They reckoned I was ok, but to rest today and keep my leg up. So will see how shoulder is tomorrow, seems to be clicking and quite painful to move.
Cheers, think I will go to docs tomorrow, am just popping painkillers and not getting much sleep. Drove to Campbeltown today, and quite sore from just moving the steering wheel.Mate, seriously get it seen to! I had a stupid snow boarding accident back in 2008, where I popped my shoulder out (still remember the *crack* sound..) and it popped back in by itself, and even though it was really sore I thought I wouldn't bother going to the doctors, because I could move my arm etc etc (younger and more stupid).
Anyway, I also had the clicking and painful movement, and it took ages until the pain went to the extent that I didn't suffer from it on a day to day basis, but it took up until last year that I could sleep on that side again due to the shoulder (it was of course my normal sleeping position as well until my fall).
My body is now wonky, as in my left shoulder sits slightly lower than my right, and you can see that the muscles have developed differently because my body has learnt to use it in a different way, and I still cannot really lift anything above my head on the left hand side due to lack of strength.
I still haven't been to the quacks about it, and I reckon it's a bit late for it now anyway, but I do wish I'd gone when I was skiing (not like I didn't have insurance), or at least when I came back, but I was young and stupid.

My favourite bike with that engine is the Cagiva Raptor- ace handling and bullet proof. All the fun of a Ducati Monster without the fragility. Prices of 'em seem to be going up as more people recognise it.
The same one?Considering how rare they seem to be, I know 2 people that own one.
Thanks for the offer, i picked up a tatty Trophy 900 the same age for just over £200 and its been sitting in the back of the shed for a few years years, it will now be a parts bike.I have a spare engine for the Triumph if you dont have a case......and couldnt agree more about not bouncing so well post 50....I was racing Ducatis until 2011 when I wrecked my rotator cuff in my right shoulder......luckily for me I has an exceedingly good BSB physio sort it for me and I no longer have any probs with it....Frances West, Water Lane Clinic in Cheshire.....her lad Sam races in Superstock 1000's.....
