Was out a wee run on my Trident yesterday, road covered in salt for the frost and nice and slippy. 60 mph speed limit road and car 2 in front signals into the cemetery, right turn ahead, I start to brake and slide the back end , high sided and down i go. Not done it for a few years, but just let go of the bike and lie on my back to let the body armour and leather scrub off my speed.
Usual reaction when I stop spinning, run to bike to pick it up, only when I start pulling do I realise I have popped my shoulder out, adrenaline pumping I still try and lift it then find have popped it back into place - by stupidity rather than design. I did manage to ride the bike the short distance home after the spill.
Now I feel like I have been 10 rounds with Mike Tyson today, I think I do not bounce as well now I am over 50!
