Not messy celery! As long as you can be contacted at the address given, you are in the clear. I still have my licence on the flat above the shop but all mail comes to me regardless. Otherwise, yes you need to do it sharpish to save any future embarrassment.

When I divorced I moved house a couple of times before ending up here. Along the way I forgot to update my licence, and eventually got round to it when I taxed the car. Along the way a parking ticket couldn't keep up with my house moves and three or four years later it appears to have given up the chase. I don't recommend it as a method of ticket avoidance, but that might not have been the only ticket...

Dunno why ask on here (twice!) when it's pretty obvious from a google search that 1) it is an offence and 2) there could be a fine of up to £1,000 if you don't do so

the same reference is also applied to the photo card driving license and that means f.a as many still drive around with there paper license
some have applied that your d license is invalid if your photo hasnt been updated which is infact untrue
my opinion is still the same dvla should stop selling our data and bring it back into line where it was designed for to prove that you could drive a vehicle and where courts and police have the only reference to it other than council parking fines
