Ill give you a call sometime soon for another one of those quick chats, lol....
Fabrication is my big downfall, tried cone rolling a few times now and its a tecnique I carnt seem to master, also cutting all those cones out by hand is a nightmare to do and accuracy goes right out the window.
Think I could cone roll pipes well if I had a Metal bandsaw, metal dies for each cone, good sanding machine, time and my brain in gear. Most of which cost ££££.
I still struggle cutting out sheet steel accurate, I use the jigsaw for a rough cut but find even that snags hear and there. I think when finished my first set of Blown pipes will look quite good but a few more sets to learn will get them right, couple of slight ripples but hardly anything. Maybe ill try a Butane flame with the pipe pumped up on my next set
My top tip for anyone trying to cut anything out of metal is to use Layout Blue, that has been my friend of late, lol... I will never go back to using pen or pencil.
Well I got work every day/night till Wed/Thus so that will be the second header, trim, sand, collers, gaffa tape so I can work out the Baffle sections out. Taking WAY to much time BUT BABY Busastars will be born soon and have two weeks perternity leave, hopfully will be finished, dyno'ed, spare cylinders bolted on and dyno'ed again.

Right still lacking in time but there finished apart from a few coats of paint. I said I would Hydroform it all but the baffle / reverse cone had to be cone rolled, I hate cone rolling.

There not realy built for the stock motor but im advancing the ignition 5* and using a different powervalve controller to open them fully by 9200 rpm.
Realy depends on who's dyno I use. If I use a Dynopro Dyno I would expect to see 52'ish rwhp. If I run on the Dynojet I would expect to see about 56'ish rwhp. Both will peak at about 10200 rpm and start to climb from just under 7k rpm.
BUT that is just my gestiemate
Been out for a quick test ride. Night & Day difference in how they perform according to my Ass Dyno.
There is some bottom end now, feels about the same with a pick up from about 6500 rpm BUT from about 8K rpm it takes off with a nice little kick in the rear. Sat upright on a private road
it pulled an indecated 120mph with ease.
Cannot wait for a Dyno run now. All I'm going to do different is use a Degree Key to advance the ignition and a 29L Powervalve controller to open fully by 9200 rpm.

I've changed the one photo that is of the rear, I edited it to my screen size and it looks a little more chunky.
Now that has got me thinking, it look chunky anyway as the standard RD has skinny wheels and tyres on there but now there is a 18" 150 section on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, My new thought is a VFR750 wheel, extra 1/2" wide, 17" tall, I know I could get a 160 in but the VFR would take a 170 section

I know, like to say its like it to set the scene and only missing the tumble weeds
I've been so busy with work, just about got inside the house done ready for Baby Busastars and bits in the shed. The garden Fairy just has not come out to play

Long story!I had some Plastikote BBQ paint, I've used it before, its top stuff and gave it one coat then run out.
So tried to get some and no luck local and bought Simondz Black VHT paint. Gave it lots of coats and it turned out when dry grey'ish.
So off I go again and got some Plastikote Stove high temp paint. All looks nice in the pics after a few coats. Since the pics and a ride its coming off the headers. Need to get some more BBQ Plastikote and redo them.
