This model of saw does not need any hydraulic or spring assisted cutting. The yellow bracket below the motor/switches is the mechanism that controls the rate the saw cuts at. You appear to have it in the slowest setting. Your saw also appears to have the information sticker missing that shoes the feed rates. I suggest that you move it to the 2nd hole from the left and try again. Your blade also sounds as if it's dull as even on the slowest setting it should cut much quicker. I have the same model and it blasted through 100x50 C channel yesterday in less than 2 minutes.
Stakesys are the distributor for Femi bandsaws in the UK. They will be able to supply you with the right blades. I got a pack of five with my saw and they are not Femi branded. Not sure what make but they are better than the Femi one it came with.
I will take a picture of my info sticker and post it later on today for you. They're great wee saws and 100% than the Clarke 6x4 Chinese ones.
