Afraid notWhat a lovely old board. Have you anything of a similar vintage to use with it ?
Excellent space to spend some time in.Afraid not
Oldest is probably 6 years old.
Will still be a very useful addition.
Top shelf is all analog
The Rolland gear is all emulations
All running through the mixer then through my io to the daw for fx then back to the mixer.
Aye it would fit but it's a shared room so can't fill the desk.Excellent space to spend some time in.
Have you got enough vertical clearance above the wide monitor to mount the new (old) mixer ?
Inserts usually use a a balanced / stereo jack to send and return via the same plugGroup inserts are unbalanced. Stick a tr in and they work fine it seems
Now to make another stand so I can wire it up
Aye. The channel inserts are on a insert cable. The group inserts feed the busses from what I can tell.Inserts usually use a a balanced / stereo jack to send and return via the same plug
I couldn't turn it down for the 40 quid I paid for it.It's a lot of mixer just for home use, something you'll never use anywhere near to its capacity or probably even half, nice to have though just because you can
Bit of a learning curve ahead of me with it.Just read through the writeup in the link, that's a seriously featured bit of kit.
Ideal in the studio, monitoring or FOH, not many do so well in all areas.
I'd have had it for 40 quid aswell, can't lose on it at the priceI couldn't turn it down for the 40 quid I paid for it.
Current mixer pictured above I've run out of mono inputs as my gears grown.
Gonna take a few months to get my head around it and decide how best to utilise it's routing but il be making a lot of use of it's routing
Gives me a lot more options as the hardware grows.
Really need to do ish wiring up the second patchbay
