Pretty much sums up the state of the UK at the moment...

Maybe one person set the studs and another was expected to bolt down...all on a tight "get the job done" timescale to keep the costs down.

Lidl put screens in front of the tills over the coof. A 8" hole was cut in the perspex so the customer could access a reader. The hole had been cut with a hole saw, leaving a lovely sharp burr all the way round the hole, for you to cut your hand on.

A rather blatant way to sell more plasters. Yet again an example of 'couldn't give a toss' workmanship.

Another point, what’s the post supporting? Right by the side of a road what happens if a vehicle hits the post, those studs won’t take much to fail.

Like the lot who installed the broadband box in the ground outside my house - on a Sunday. Laid the tarmac around it on wet soil. I told them they couldn’t do that “nah, be alright mate” was the answer...

obviously the studs were set in the concrete, post and erecter came later to find it was mis matched , and probably phoned in to say so, then got told to make it fit , thats just the way I see it
