Cutting wheel needs a few teeth as well
Surely that is a retaining ring in front of the bearing in those pictures? I would expect to have to take that off before trying to pull the bearing. And if the bearing was seized in the housing, you'd have to take the retaining ring off before pulling off that housing.![]()
Looks expensive!
I always find with flanged bearings that the grease never actually gets into them. It just comes out of the gap between the housing and the insert.
Often it’s because the housing is worn and needs replacing as well as the insert.
But there certainly are some that don’t work from new which does annoy me.
