How would you remove this bearing?

Thats our fitter, makes me feel ill looking at his work

Now that you've got it fixed, I feel safe in making silly comments [although that's never stopped me before ]

So.....you employ a 'fitter', but not a 'remover'

Looks like you'll [or he ] will be able to lube the replacement pillow bearing in future

Just needs a few pumps of grease and it will be fine


The bearing that was siezed on the shaft would not budge so blasted a gurt nut on the end with the mig and the slide hammer did the rest. The heat certainly helps



The other side came off with the tapped holes and puller.



Found some really stubby grease nipples so tapped holes to suit , back together now , fitted on the machine and ready for next week.
