I have the same problem with both of my Verdict ones. I broke the new one I got from Jez. I was gutted!
If Screwdriver cant print them, let me know and ill resin print some.
The edge of the part that would need glueing is probably only 0.8mmx0.8mm so no chance using a pin and glueing it.cant really see it clearly, but depending on what type of plastic its made from I'd try and glue it together, then drill it and pin it and glue to pins in place. when I say pins I mean use thin springy wire, down to 0.4mm or if you can use larger wire, 0.6mm mig wire.
Must be a common issue because this indicator is mint so it happened early in its lifeSorry to hear you have a problem Brad. Though to save something from it. I'll not be buy a Verdict Indicator anytime soon.
Surprised its not been mentioned before since its so common
I think mine is in the same state, although I more commonly use a DTI. I may look at a spring steel fix then I have finished the patio area for SWMBO.I’ve got the same prob with mine, it’s a common prob on verdict ones apparently - mine is holding together (just) but isn’t long for this world.
I’ll be interested to see how you get on, seeing as how I’ll probably need to do the same very shortly.
I’ll try and dig out the info I found on it, I did a little bit of research but haven’t properly looked into it yet (other than I now know a few people have had same issue!)
The brass one in that thread is very like the spring steel one on my old dti. Some info and pics of repairs here.
