With all due respect @Parm , it's a fence, even at 40 cms you've got to give it some wellie to have it fall on you. I appreciate your trade and training, but are you over thinking this ? Question, how deep to suggest they set the uprights? I imagine into concrete as they will be in an unpaved area of the garden
