Well I don't know much about single malt except it is a bit expensive, and I have never seen some that I felt was cheap. What sort of price would be considered cheap for a 1 litre bottle? You use a cheap ok single malt in hot toddy’s then drink the good single malt as a chaser… do you people know nothing?
I’d be more inclined to stick the lemon in a g&t and then have a single malt chaser, but I fear that says more about me than my medicinal skillsYou use a cheap ok single malt in hot toddy’s then drink the good single malt as a chaser… do you people know nothing?
My lad suffers hay fever and asthma. When he was little we used to camp in France holiday time. One year driving through rural areas he was really suffering, in the tent that night we could hear his hoarse breathing in bed, we were told to put s bowl of boiling water in the room, mix in a big blob of Vic, within minutes of the vapours filling the tent room we could hear his breathing turn to normal. If my granny was visiting and any of us kids had a cold/ flu. You got the boiling water and vic in the kitchen basin treatment, you learnt quick not to cough, sneeze infront of her! It did work though. Made your eyes water
Another one is vic on the soles of your feet, put socks on go to bed. No coughing, sneezing, it work tooMy lad suffers hay fever and asthma. When he was little we used to camp in France holiday time. ...it's industrially refined highly processed sugar from China, tainted with antibiotics with the tiniest, microscopic amount of actual honey which is really only a nod to the semantic issue of labelling.
The wife has had me doing that for the last 11 days. Helps a bit though ended up seeing doc yesterday and now on antibiotics.Another one is vic on the soles of your feet, put socks on go to bed. No coughing, sneezing, it work too

Do you have a bona fide source for this information? I'm not doubting what you write, in fact I think you're probably 100% accurate.
I have jars of 'honey' in the cupboard from both Lidl and Asda, the former labelled "Simply...Clear Honey" and the latter "Clear Honey" from their 'Just Essentials' range. Lidl label reads "blend of non-EU honey" and the Asda one "Product of China, packed in the UK for Asda".
If what you report is, in fact, the case I intend to contact both Companies seeking clarification in detail as to what their product(s) contain. Depending on the responses, it might be of interest to the ASA.....
Since I'm fending off a lurgy, my spleen could do with a good cleansing....![]()

Relax, Folks. It Really Is Honey After All
The honey on supermarket shelves is probably real honey, after all. But claims that illicit Chinese honey was being sneaked into the U.S. market reveal how quick we are to assume the worst about supermarket foods — and imports. Closer analysis reveals a more complex tale.www.npr.org
