They started putting that on commercial pads about fifteen years ago, I asked back then and was told its goo that helps bed in the pads. That said the info came from a guy at the commercial motor factors that only has one tooth in his head and dribbles a lot.

As an animal I love horses. But I modern times I see only downsides to them. My ex of 11 years had a handful of them. They cost a bloody fortune to keep, feels like they are always trying to kill themselves, a lot of looking after. The smell you kinda get used to. But by far the worst think imho is the “equine culture” the mentality of the people in those spheres is insane.

Yep, in fairness its a business for swmbo and with twenty four of the feckers here its all consuming. Suits me, all the time they are busy 24/7 I get left alone, its in my interest to get that truck back on the road asap

Proof it’s not the feeding end of the horse that causes the problem, on this side the caliper is free,pads are good and the disc is ok. They will get changed while it’s in bits.

When it's steam cleaned for it's MOT spray underneath with Dinitrol underbody treatment, it's expensive but it's the only thing that seems to stick and stop corrosion. It's a real pig to clean off if you need to but we coated some army vehicles that went to the Faulklands on the deck of a ship and it was still on when they got there.

i modified the floor in dads horsebox to have the floor properly sealed with drain holes into pipework and draining away from anything that i dont want pee on. his chassis is perfect for a 2002 iveco and the brakes where only replaced 8 years ago because a master failed, locked the rear brakes on and cooked them (along with the abs sensors, pads and disks...)
