Given the need to get stuff fermenting pronto I've taken your recommendation and ordered one. Not done an extract brew for several years, in fact did about 5 kit brews before I went all grain so this is almost a new thing!

@drjim I have found the Genius beer matures over a period of time. When brewed & barrelled it’s ok, but not a lot of flavour, leave it a while & it’s fine as it gets down the barrel it gets better & better. Mine was made mid December & it is spot on now, a really good head & never have to add any co2.

I think I'll stick it in my king keg pressure barrel rather than the corny kegs, it can sit in the corner of the bar shed ready for when I fancy a stout.

I have done it so manmy times, bought kit, sold kit time and time again, and selling this kit now haha. Sick of washing bottle lol.

Ill prob do it again next year.

Love my ciders and done some crackeing brews when we had apple trees. Turbo strawberry is lethal haha

That’s what I’ve got, changer the tap for one of those posher Brewgas ones. Also got a Hamilton Bard barrel which I bought in I think it was 1984. I looked at the Corny Kegs, but they appear to be 19 litre, what do you do with a 23 litre kit?

I usually stick a few litres into bottles when I keg.

Generally brew all grain and 25 30 or 60L batches so this 23l kit thing is just a bit of fun really.
