Well I reckon this pear wine has finished fermenting! No "blipping" through the airlock at all though the level seems to be held under a little internal pressure so must be something low level going on. Maybe if I watched it for hours something might happen. The barrel is sat just inside the patio doors wrapped in a fleece and nada, nothing.
Ref the extra sugar I added on Sunday, should I have reboiled it all to dissolve? Gave it all a damn good stir. This just to recap then had two lots of yeast.
Other than that I think it's a case of racking into a couple of demijohns now.
