Don't forget to bond the pipe...

The way I do it is to drill a 20mm hole through the wall then waggle the drill about so you can fit a length of 20mm plastic tube through. 2.5mm twin and earth and check the termination is secure in the house socket as three into one can be easy to leave one loose.
A good blob of silicone sealer round the back of the outside socket to keep the rats out!

Been there, done that, and after a few I thought WTF am I doing this for?
Bought a 22mm drill (actually several all the way up to 1m). Happy days!

10 or 15 mm hole and 2.5 mm cable . forget a pipe waste of time

Not seen it myself, but this may be suggested due to PVC plasticiser migration from the cable insulation if you have polystyrene cavity wall insulation.
Otherwise, there is no need for a sleeve.

only ever seen slight derogation of cable outer sheath due to cavity wall insulation and that was after 30 years so no problem

dont like them look at the position of the cables entering the box they need to be inside and enough length,which needs to be lost in the box . mk are simlar and crap as well

Jablite is the worse for it, nice outline of the cable sunk through it and a very sticky cable.
