Here it is after a few hours in the play pen this evening

The very carefully placed decorative crazing and patterns are a highly time consuming process involving heat and lack of experience and knowledge.

AKA, getting the metal too hot in the furnace.

it’s well and truly tested with a planishing hammer and anvil. Much to my surprise it didn’t break.

Last one of the holidays. This was a blank I bought from the internet. Heat treat by me then a handle. Made with 3 different types of hard wood, all natural colours. Wood supplied by @toddy

Next project is an old school audio device which is now going to be much easier courtesy of a member on here who made me a PCB

Wish I’d had time to play over the holidays but have been working pretty much back to back as the client would only give us access to their building from 20th Dec - handback is on 6th Jan!
