Hi all,
This post prompted my question here.
I searched this site, but did not get far.
I wonder if someone can tell me the most painless procedure and costs for registering an old VW bus from the 60's?
Bus is in Greece, w/o local registration, or hope of one, and my friend who is in the UK who would probably buy the bus if she or I can drive it up there, which means is should be registered and insured there beforehand.
Historic tax class and MOT exemption would seem applicable in this case.
She's not too good with bureaucracy, so I have to figure out the details and spell it out for her.

Checking VIN number on the web (SAMBA, etc.) shows the vehicle for what it is: a 1965 VW panel bus.
regards,
nick
