Well i had a quick weld with the gas today and this is how it came out, is there anything i should be changing?
Also when you have have a blow through, how are you supposed to fill this? do you just arch the mig at one side and then drag it over?
Don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but your power (voltage) setting looks too high. I'll bet you've got more weld on the reverse side than the side you welded from.
Personally I'll set the power knob to suit the metal thickness and adjust the wire speed to fairly well the minimum that will work with that power setting (especially for thin stuff). Calculator can be used for starting points for both.
For filling holes start with short bursts around the edge of the holes. The resulting blobs don't stick but they do add metal thickness. When you get close to the middle of the hole weld continuously and circle outwards to melt the blobs in.
I don't know where Captain Sodder is coming from.
