It doesn't match the t2 measurementsAs said, looks like T2 same as mine but don't want to get it wrong, send your sketch and photos to RDG tools and they will tell you. Thats what I did.
I can't find one that it matches?Dickson

Bison make quality european copies
It's non of those.
...but they didn't fit.
It is a gate lathe which as you say is a Colchester copy and the toolpost may be unique to them, looks like I'm buying a new toolpostDid the toolpost come with the lathe? What lathe is it? Have you measured the post and other holders and checked the dimensions against the pdf? It maybe that you have a knock off version, possible if it came with an Asian lathe.
I can't remember now but I think the vs didn't line up, I'll see if I can get it again to see what exactly it is.In what way did they not fit?
Remove the eccentric clamping bolt/cam and the top hat part that pulls the holder into the post. If the holder fits the vees in the post, but does not clamp up, as above, you can make modifications to cure this.
If you have two holders already and want to buy ten more, it would be better to modify the ones you have to match the new ones (i.e. pick whichever route is shorter).
Yes it's on my tomorrow todo listAs in this Gate:
Give them a ring.![]()
I didn't say buy from them.Dickson
