Just think Parm, connect it to 240v when the in-laws are coming. Your own electric chairI’ve got an idea going round my head to make a top gear style chair with a heated car seat.
I can get plenty of heated seats from a scrappie, just need an idea on the size of 12v supply required

Ahh....I would check the fuse in the donor car I think and then just maybe make sure you double the power of the supply so you have plenty of headroom built in.
Good plan, but it does make power supply options quite expensive
Just for you I checked mine: Both front and rear seat (note singular) are 25A fuses.
I'm surprised - I expected each front seat to have individual fuses.
Mine have three settings.
- Hot
- Chuffing Hot
- Dear God that hurts Hot.
Depends how "getto" this build is going to be.....aren't computer PSUs rated at a lovely stable 12v?
I’ve got quite few +100amp 12v CPU supplies. Only problem is the annoyingly noisy cooling fan
How do you plan to control the heat settings though?
Maybe get the dash out of the donor car too...and the loom...etc etc etc
