Funnily enough @Parm I'm considering designing and building a controllable supply for my heated seats in the Defender.
If you want a comfortable seat might I suggest one of the L322 seats (Full Size Range Rover), amazingly comfortable. That's what I've fitted into mine, the main supplies to do the electric adjustment take a standard 1/4" spade terminal. The heaters are a 3 pin variant (two supply lines and a thermistor).
One neat thing about those seats are that the back folds in half so you can sit upright and actually have head support.
