Yes, you get loads of different tapes for them, here you can see clear with white that I added to the side of the LEDs.

I got mine on special about 3 years ago, I think it was well under £100 but maybe I am just imagining it

Not sure, mine is a P Touch but not sure if it is the same as yours but the TZ bit rings a bell with the cartridge letters.

I've had a Dymo Rhino 4200 for work for a while now. It's mainly maintenance work and some installation of plant on site, so I tend not to do enough that the keyboard on it becomes enough of a PITA to outweigh the portability. "Real" consumables are pricy, but the compatibles are much cheaper and work well. Max tape width is 19mm, minimum is 6mm, and the heat shrink ratio is 3:1. The 6mm 3:1 will do pretty much anything I need to do in terms of single cores. The 19mm is a bit limiting if you want to label a multicore, particularly SWA. There's a pretty good range of tapes, though the compatibles do offer less variety. There used to be a Rhino 6000 that would do 24mm tapes. That seems to have been discontinued, though I'm finding current listings for a 6000+.

I misread your post and thought it said they DO do heatshrink tapes for the P touch TZ. So I went on Ebay to look.
You just accidentally educated me. They DO do them! I would have never known. I love my P touch as it does all different fonts, barcodes, 38mm tapes and mow….. heatshrink tapes!!
