Any linksI have a HID kit fitted to the low beam on my GS1200 , I very seldom have to turn on high beam , I have LED bulbs in my R1200s , but overall prefer the HID .
Don't know about bikes but MOT has become stricter with regard to retrofitting LEDs to vehicles they haven't been approved on.
Just pointing it out, what you do with it is up to you.

Hids being self levelling - what a joke, as if all roads are flat. Nothing like being blinded as you drive over a brow, even though the oncoming car has dipped...eJust seconding this as something to be aware of - any retrofit or change to the original design of the lamp unit should, technically, fail an MOT - so be prepared for that, or swapping them over at MOT time.
May also get you a tug if plod take exception to them.
If there was a factory HID option originally available, you can retrofit the entire assembly in some cases, providing you have all the looms etc in place - keep in mind HIDs have to be self levelling.
Alternatively, you can get some standard upgraded bulbs which make an improvement and keep everything legal – not going to be as good as HIDs but they can make quite a difference.

Yes I did, my point was these things blind you. Self levelling only prevents that if the road is flat. Well suprise, it isn't everywhere.Hi, It's not about the roads being flat, it about the vehicle not sitting level with a full compliment of passengers and load and the lights compensating for it. But you already knew that, didn't you?

I've been brought to a halt by motorbikes with lights like that.If it's shining out as far as main beam what's it like for oncoming traffic ?
I think the days of considering other road users are gone.I've been brought to a halt by motorbikes with lights like that.
So bright you have no idea if it's a bike or car/van with a light out running a single main.
