I understand that people need to fund their YouTube lifestyle, But there is alot of product placement which is selling goods which aren't worthy. They just pray on the vulnerable! Also my respect for some of these people disappears.

You have it in reverse gear I think . The selling is the sole reason for the telling

Wyatt was with Lincoln when I was. They did some sponsorship of Motorsports in America and eventually F1. He was part of a team that followed the Indy Car circus from circuit to circuit providing welding services to the teams. Lincoln had a welding booth in the Pits so any team could bring in their broken parts for repair. Lincoln like to pigeon hole people with specific areas of expertise. It helps management when they need a fall back. I think thats when he got called Mr Tig. I could easily have fallen into the same trap. They once gave me clothing with a title....when I was in the good books...I lost it..... I also became an "expert" to call on when things werent going right with a customer. Sometimes it was a genuine technical problem, sometimes it was other factors and they needed to shift the focus.
I dont know what happened with Mr Tig, I assume he was either canned or he left for pastures new and his new employers wanted to exploit his previous standing. Having known him I wouldnt say he was an overly arrogant man, just one easily swayed and praised into believing the hype. If your held on a pedestal by many, for so long, you can start to act the part.

As an aside. One year they decided to hold Indy Car racing in Rockingham Raceway near Corby. A newly built track (then). We were asked to provide a similar welding service. They provided tanks that held the fuel, when they arrived a few of them had split so we had to repair them. It would never have happened without. I seem to recall it only lasted a couple of yesra anyway.

It’s not difficult that. It’s just but building something up and shaping to profile. His aluminium fabrication work is far more impressive. Probably one of the most consistently neat alu welders going.

I've not really watched weld.com videos that much, but I noticed the hubbub about this Mr Tig guy on forums. And recently I've been getting weld.com recommendations and I've clicked them and I've noticed it's all this other guy, Bob Moffat that's doing all the welding videos instead. Looked in one of the comment and it seems Mr TIG is gone:

I suppose all the negative feedback on welding forums got to them, I do feel sorry for Mr TIG, can't be fun to be disliked by so many. But perhaps that choice of name was his single biggest mistake and he'd gotten away with a lot more just calling himself Wyatt.
