di all plasmas cut through paint ,, like you have on a car .. or should i be looking for a certain type of item ??

i see that a lot of them are "touch start " but once started will it cut through paint and rust ?

are there any plazma cutters that will run on 13Amps ??i only need to cut upto 5 or 6 mm ,,

i can not run a cable out to take more than 13amps.

My Oerlikon Citocut 10i will run from a 13A plug, it's supposedly good for 10mm severance, I think I've cut 6mm with it so far.

They should cut through paint OK. I find that you are better to grind the paint off where you position the return lead though.
