The M350 is the same, I think the M300 is also the sameThat's interesting. There is a Belleville washer pack on the M250 feed shaft, it acts as a preload spring to control an over torque release clutch.
M300 definitely has them on both shafts and they are shown in the manual diagrams. M350 diagram in the manual doesn’t show any on the feedscrew, it shows an 8mm spring pin, presumably acting as a shear pin. It's been a while since I was at the M350, too many projects! Anyway, that could be correct, but are you talking about the lead screw or the feed shaft?
