what taper does your tail stock take?I was thinking of a tailstock die holder..... Then I saw the price of them!
no problem, ill pop it back in the box with the rest of the tooling i still need to sort throughThanks for the offer, But I'll pass. I won't use it often enough. (didn't really want to do this job)
just like everyone of us on here!!no problem, ill pop it back in the box with the rest of the tooling i still need to sort through![]()
made even worse by the addition of a new bench today, so now ive got an actual space to put the box rather than having to move it every other day...it'll never get seen to nowjust like everyone of us on here!!
...I'll get a decent die from UK Drills.
MT2 I've just had a youtube look and @Morrisman has got it sussed. I haven't opened the split up a bit and I'm trying to take off too much metal. I'm having my tea now and I'm working tomorrow So I'll crack it on Monday. If all else fails I'll get a decent die from UK drills.

they don't care, Just say, is it cheaper? crack on.But don't tell them at work![]()
The last lot of 11mm drill bits I bought from UK drills bent!UK Drills is not necessarily a supplier I would associate with 'decent quality'.
my 10.2 turned out to be a 10.0...The last lot of 11mm drill bits I bought from UK drills bent!
Just make one...I was thinking of a tailstock die holder..... Then I saw the price of them!
