I cut all my box section with a angle grinder and 0.8 cutting disc.

The beauty of hacksaws is they don't create sparks.

I used to use a hacksaw but just use the bandsaw these days as my hands aren't to brilliant at the moment.

Hacksaw's my go to normally, can't be doing with a noisy grinder if I can help it, and like most things the more you do it the better you get at it.

Mind you I am a glutton for punishment and love making life hard for myself

I just clamp my box section as normal. I make sure the bandsaw is set up to be dead accurate and keep the damper almost at max for a slow cut and increase it a tad once the cut is started.

Never have an issue with it wandering off line so long as I don't get impatient and push down on the bow. The squareness of the cut flatters my abilities as a maker.
