hadnt used mine since i was 17 and im 58 now i used it last year to set carbs up on me norton after a rebuild last year so dont thrownothing away it comes in handyDIY high tech 40+ years ago, threw my one in the bin about 2 weeks ago, I haven't used it in 39+ years, it had gathered enough dust in my ownership........
If I had a good long search in the garage I expect I'd find all sorts of other weird and wonderful gadgets that I used in the 70's and 80's.
Arr a dwell meter, now theres something that modern mechanics I doubt have never heard of and probably couldn't/wouldn't know how to use one.
Let alone be able to explain what dwell is and what advantage a meter has over feelers.

I may be imagining this, but wasn't there a distributor that you could adjust the dwell with the engine running? Maybe late 80's early 90's
