Air gun is how I do it.
................ I bought it second hand a month or two ago. It's actually been pretty good.
I would not be too bothered about who branded it for sale, give it a bit of a clean inside and put it to work, enjoy.I bought it being told it was sealey, I thought nothing of it to check for a name but I realised a week later that it doesn't actually say sealey on it ?
Yes I was having a blonde moment oops

Do you mean as in being placed where its circulation is blocked by the big rusty thing ?What a terrible fan and terrible installation; they might as well have not bothered fitting that, it can't do much beyond gently stirring air around inside the case. Poor thing needs a duct.
I will doThat's the important bit, if it reliably does what you bought it to do.

If you think it will work better with sealey logo on it I can cut one out of vinyl. But my guess is that it wont. (tongue in cheek) lolI will do, Thanks for the feedback.

Looks like my old 1989 Einhell inside as do the controls and front panel printing so I'm thinking made in Italy by Telwin. What does the serial number say, does it give a date code?
A Clarke sticker might make the spares cheaper than Sealey!
I went and looked the only numbers I could see were these in the top right hand corner of this photo
I've never Sean inside a sealy but that looks fairly well built. Not so sure about lack of air flow on rectifier bridge (Ali plates above fan) but I don't think that will be much of a problem
It's a perfectly fine welder, but the fan cooling might as well not be there as the fan will drive very little air without a duct and will contribute very little in getting heat out of the casing. It will make a small difference to the duty cycle of the transformer, but disproportionately small considering how much extra you pay for fan cooling when they machines are new. If you can find a dead commercial fridge or computer power supplies you could rob ducted fans off them and mount them in place of the existing arrangement to boost the amount of cooling air exchange and the speed of the air circulating around the casing.
I'd say that's more of a supercharged fanTelwin Super Turbo........
A bit OTT and noisy compared to a Papst ducted fan though.
