I can see that being cheap that just needs a labour and a press, the other one looked in house fabbed laser cut or plasma cut slots then bent.

Unless they have a well set up press

Very cheap. Cant see you can make money like that

They probably bang them out a sheets worth at a time. Sheet put on the laser and left to it's own devices whilst you set the press up. Hour or two for a batch of 50ish... If you've got the right gear, some stuff is so easy to produce.

I have one of those bolted to my toolbox for the most-used aerosols. Really good little thing.

It has 4 bends and 4 holes with one being larger for the gun...why would the mastic rack be any less work? don't you think mine has been fabbed "in house" and made in the back yard

Cheaper dies punch press them out. Most shops have round dies but probably not oval dies.


Its a hugely niche market grinder racks where as mastic holder are not. Less sales you need a higher price

mate we are talking about China here where tooling is a tenth of the prices here so shape means nothing to them..we are talking about global sales with the Asians who sell hard so niche markets also mean nothing to them. honestly how many grinder racks have you seen on your travels in the last 52 weeks?..i have seen none and and the same number of mastic holders have been spotted too so your assumption of a huge niche market may be a bit off

My mate works at a sheet metal place with press brakes and punch presses. They have hundreds of dies in all shapes and sizes. It's no big deal to punch out a similar-sized hole. Grinder racks are hardly high tolerance.

Or laser/plasma cut is easy enough with that gear.

I most certainly am...if that bit of bent steel is worth 30 notes then we can see why China sells everything to us........by the way they have massive advantages we don't have and yes if that's all your business does you won't get rich quick. But i ain't buying that for 30 quid no way...
