I fitted the new sensor and it seems to work
I need a new filter as it doesn't look like it has ever been replaced
(it's had 3 services)

The light is on the actual pump and does show fault codes with different colours or pulses, the boiler control is analogue
I'm now wondering if this faulty sensor would cause the boilers overheat trip to operate as it's happened twice in the last couple of months?

he's good and anyone that drag raced a twin engined MZ is ok in my book
the other guy had to call me at work as "the pump won't restart" after he serviced it
