Filled up on the way home. Half an hour of queueing. Would have been quicker but people feel it's ok to block a pump for 10-15 minuites to do some shopping when there's only 4 pumps open.
We've just ordered 1200 liters at 45.5p looks like we got in just in time....I'm certainly not looking forward to buying my 2000L of heating oil in the next couple of weeks. To think it was as low as 17p/L.
You will got to hell!I remember that !! I rented a barn conversion in Scotland early 2000s with a tank - it was right on 17p / litre which at the time (between 3 single blokes) was only a few beers. The first summer came and we couldn’t figure out how to turn the heating down so we regulated with windows ….. :-( the woman at the gas company was in hysterics with the number of deliveries of oil we were ordering. Couldn’t imagine such behaviour now - on many levels !!

I have no idea! I just said get some oil asap due to all this driver, fuel nonsence!Does it vary across the country, sure SWMBO said it was 60p odd when she looked yesterday?
Yep, it's the height of ferking ignorance, that.Or park on a pump while going to the cash machine and NOT filling up.
I bought 1500ltrs at 49.5, was delivered last thursday.I have no idea! I just said get some oil asap due to all this driver, fuel nonsence!

Just paid the equivalent of 78ppl here for 1300 litres
That's painful. Last time we visited St Omer I noticed that the Auchan Hypermarket had their delivered Kero price at quite a few pence/litre more expensive than the the then current UK price.
Dear Lady On/Off .......nah that could be a bit ambiguous & thought to be misogynistic in some esoteric way .... so :-Please feel free to explain to my wife that you only pay for insulation once!
She'd rather ***** the cash on takeaways and other crap!
I'm going to die in poverty, in a freezing old house being eaten by rats!
Our local fuel depot( 600 mtrs away ) allows a group of householders living fairly close to a single route to form a fuel purchase group . Here they call it being on the bank , they are automatically kept topped up four or so times a year or more if you need it ..I bought 1500ltrs at 49.5, was delivered last thursday.
a lot of the online outfits, just take your order and then sub it to a local firm or depot. Its usually cheaper just togo local-in the first place.
