Didnt see the programe, but having spent time working in two different Korean ship yards. It is quite impressive watching them rattle out their standard ships.

The shipping industry is responding to this issue and, by coincidence, watched this last night - Maersk are doing quite a lot to act:
In the programme they were talking about the more they can get on the ships the less the emissions per ton of cargo is which is where these super cargo ships come in. However they're still emitting it and it's an horrific amount, all so that some cheap plastic tat can be ordered online and then break a few weeks/months down the line so more can be ordered.
