not all the same but here is a pic to give an ideaHi where was the diod I can't find one on the bearing end
can you post a full size pic of the diagramCool the diagram only shows them next to the squirrel cage I spent £1400 on it last year brand new engine done les than 400 hours so I'm keen to fix it but may have to sell it as its beyond me now
the only real way to test a capacitor is with a meter with capacitance test on itYep you are right I'm just getting very frustrated the capasuters have tested up ok once I got the corect values IV flashed them with 12 v no good so I recon it's windings or diodes
do you have a wiring diagram ? without it people are just stabbing in the darkYep you are right I'm just getting very frustrated the capasuters have tested up ok once I got the corect values IV flashed them with 12 v no good so I recon it's windings or diodes
different colour tape and photos are better then drawingsIn the bottom photo there appears to be a couple of loose wires (unless you have taken them off for testing purposes) and some of the terminal posts look a little corroded. I would go round looking for bad connections, loose wires, etc first. If you do take wires off, put tape you can write on to identify where they go. Drawing a diagram as you go helps too.
