3 words that can mean everythingIndeed it will
Those are a total of 400HP it can fly .My mate has a stripped out mini with two Yamaha R1 engines in it. Says he's going to go autograss racing with it.
Those engines are designed to work at high RPM , and they have a great lubrication system , you can tehorycally use them tilted on a side no problems.
I would have made intakes for those engines .Never really understood the fascination with the BEC, the few guys I know that have built them slowly tired of them and fitted car engines, a hoot for a while but not for everyone.
We are here to learn , what would you do?They have a great lubrications system *for use in a bike* - when they're tilted on the side the oil is still being flung to the sump from centripetal forces. That's no longer the case in a car, and especially off road in a rally car you will have problems 100% if you don't modify the pickup and pan, you're walking into trouble right there.
The other issue is nothing is built for the shock loadings you will generate with off road impacts, tyres and 4wd, which will be 20x what it experiences in the bike, so you're going to want expensive spring-steel torsion-bar type driveshafts, diffs that are well mounted to take out shock without too much flex, and the same for the propshafts, probably even with cush-drives before the gearbox, otherwise you'll just smash it.
