Hi everybody
Tasked with trying to repair a remote that was dropped, the led on the remote lights up when it should but it doesn't control the fire.
Cant really see anything up with the board soldering looks nice, you think the ultrasonic transducer( only markings on it are a T on underside) has been broken? I would normally tell them to buy a new remote but £100 for something that looks like it cost a fiver to make seem unreasonable.

)
, had to wait 2 months before the right sized one was available 12mm. so soldered it in today and it works
, one the plus side it did give me a excuse to buy some flux cored lead tin solder, i hadnt noticed the stuff i previously bought from maplins wasn't flux core (was the not lead RoHS stuff) and had difficulty with getting it to stick to anything.
