Gas leak from mig , help!

Hi I'm am after some help regarding my mig welder, I have noticed a leak from where the torch line comes out from the main unit , it is a Clarke 140e mk2 and I assume that I have damaged the pipe after years of wrapping the hose around the machine, I have removed the line from the welder , to see if I could repair it but I am no sure where the gas goes ! Does it run down the liner with the wire ? It has a metal liner with a plastic cover and the cover has come away from near where the leak is coming from . So could I just replace the liner assuming the gas runs through it or do I need to replace the whole torch , if so should I go for a euro conversion kit or just refit the same fixed type

There should be a clear plastic tube for the gas.

It is the same size as the liner.

Thanks guess it makes sense otherwise the gas would leak out where the wire feeds in ! Can the gas tubes be replaced or an I looking at a new torch ?

Clarke don't seem to list this plastic tube in their manual, and I couldn't find it in a quick look at the Machinemart site. The pic below shows where it connects inside the torch.
I would be inclined to either try a repair with Duck tape, or make a clean cut at the break, then insert a thin plastic or metal pipe inside the tube, then use small pipe clips, or just tape it up.
You could also try removing the whole tube and taking it to a motor spares shop; they usually have a variety of screen wash plastic tubes of various sizes.

I believe it's just standard PTFE tubing, measure the OD and the bore and you'll match it up easily.
4mm OD, 2.5mm bore rings a bell but I could be wrong so measure it.

If the break is in an accessible place you could cut it cleanly and use one of these;

If it's inside the torch lead then there's not room for one so you'll have to renew the entire line.
