Garage - Increasing Storage Space

I don't want to store a lot of stuff up there right now. Can't afford the materials and don't have the energy or frame of mind at the mo.

All I want to do is remove a bit of timber and put 4 relatively lightweight car doors up there plus two bonnets. Out of the way so I can manoeuvre and tidy a bit down below.

I get what you want to do, but Id suggest a vigorous de clutter and a few trips to the tip as a first step! Then you will be able to see what you need to do

Exactly that. I did half wonder about a drop. down loft ladder but haven't any clear floor to land it at the mo. It'll either hit the bench or front of one of the Capris.

Id suggest a vigorous de clutter and a few trips to the tip as a first step!

That's what the storage is for. Actually I did notice some now broken fluorescent tubes broken under all the crap on the bench that can go.

Full of cold I was going to the SiLs today. Out of respect to everyone else I'm going to give it a miss so as not to spread this. Hopefully SWMBO will bring me a plate back as the SiL puts on a cracking spread

Which leaves me a day on my own. If I can summon the energy I may venture into the garage. I've spied at least two knackered tool bags that can go plus any number of broken, folding plastic crates. Maybe I'll make a pile and take a pic of what I'm chucking.

Actually I did notice some now broken fluorescent tubes broken under all the crap on the bench that can go.

Thats quite a ruthless clearout, surely the broken glass will be useful for something?

Maybe I'll make a pile and take a pic of what I'm chucking.

A picture to formalize the great loss will help heal the pain and over time you come to terms with it.

Glue it the the top of a wall to act as a deterrent to thieves.
