I got fed up of the up and over door so took it off, sliced it down the middle and hinged it so it opens outwards. Best thing I did, more space internally and a lot less faff going in and out.

As per the title, only one door on the garage, an up and over fibre glass panelled metal framed horsman door.
It’s a pain in the backside I’m in and out of it so often, don’t like to leave it open both for weather/the wrong kind of eyes seeing in.
The cheapest option is to somehow use the existing door but I can see this being a potential nightmare/impossibility.
Just wondering if anyone had successfully made their existing up and over door into a side hinged one.
