For the building construction
If there is a drain running under the floor is the ground going to take the load of a 2 post?
There is also a moratorium on planning restrictions currently, local councils have been told they have to relax certain aspects of planning in order to allow developments to take place due to current problems with housing.
the reason is round our way the price of rental is generaly over 600 to 800 a month plus rates on topAye, it's letting our local council approve applications that nobody in the entire county but that bunch of pocket-lining (&^$$ wants. They witter on about affordable housing but then, instead of insisting that planners build in the town (plenty of sites available) they are allowing upmarket developments on the outskirts, which of course nets them more in council tax.
There are several developers trying to get planning permission to build on one side of a local road that is open fields; it's obvious that once one is allowed it'll set a precedent and then the road that is currently the boundary of the town, will be buried in the middle of it (and it's not a small town).
What gets me is that if there's so much demand for housing, how come there are so many 'To Let' signs on new builds? It's clearly not young singles or families buying them to rent out because they can't afford to live in them to start with... and if so many people are stuck for somewhere to live, why aren't all the rentals occupied?

At my garage we where going to fit an outside 4post lift for dirty jobs power washing wax oiling etc and I had the idea of making a flat roof whose legs would be mounted on each corner of the lift so it would raise with the lift I was going to put it in a corner so it didnt need two sides and for the other sides I was thinking of that fork lift door hanging curtain type material, I used to have a customer who worked fitting it and used to change it periodically.
But we desided to go to greece instead.
I AM ??!!DAMNbut your still here Norm
I AM ??!!DAMN
Well we wuz going but my mate since school who worked for me for years got bone cancer and I coundn't leave him, had to help him, though to the 'end', then doctors told me, I'd had a heart attack, (A bit of an inconvenience means I have to have a bloody medical every year now for my hgv), then my mum who was going with us had a bowel camera endoscope, which went wrong IMO and ended up with her having impromptu bowel shortening opp and her getting septicemia from it and then having to have a colostomy to save her, but she was that weak she had to be re-sussed on the table coz her heart gave out, and then she spent 6mths in hospital, couldnt even lift aplastic cup to her lips.
She got right from that, colostomy reversed etc then had hip opp, that we sorted for her, that then made her leg longer than normal and she couldnt walk!! After all that poor dear, she ended up with Altimeter's and had to end up in a home
with loads of grief from the council who robbed her of all her money and left nothing to even pay for her funeral.
Oh yeah I forgot I ended up somewhere in all that, with kidney failure coz of the DO NOT MIX tablets they cave me for my bad back and heart.
SO I HAD LOADS A LUCK for that period,
only trouble was it was all BAD.
what started as a dream ended up a nightmare.
WELL AS I LOOK AT IT, IT COULD BE WORSE.
I could have ended up old --------OH S**T .
THANKS PAL !!Bur Norm you are getting old ----so by the time you get to Greece will be too late
