was it the 18 had a turbo , and the earlier 16s didnt ,,
I had a 1.6 non turbo and it was grand , the 1.8s did in heads from memory I had a 1.4 petrol too saz5454 , it was an ex police dog van and I did 225, 000 miles in it running from Belfast to Dublin to work 5 nights a week , for a lot of years ,, yep a thousand miles a week commute ,,,

I had a 1.8 non turbo. Absolutely gutless, but went anywhere, did anything I asked of it (including pulling a caravan to South Wales and back a few times) and never faltered.

Really fond memories of it from when my lad was young going camping and stuff.

Wish I'd never got rid of it to be honest and I'd have another one in a heart beat. Creeping up in price now though.
